1011023 | 011_Na_023 | ENDF/B-VII | Only high quality covariance data (MF=32) migrated from ENDF/B-VI.8 (M. Herman). Covariance data for ENDF/B-VII.1 ENDF/B-VI.8 MF32 rel uncertainties adjusted to the those from the Atlas of Neutron Resonances [1]. Thermal uncertainties for capture and elastic were added using file 33. Elastic was set to 5.5%, as half the difference between the thermal value in this evaluation and the value in the Atlas. The capture thermal unc was taken from the Atlas. In the fast neutron region the sensitivity calculations were performed with the EMPIRE code. The spherical optical model provided total cross sections and neutron scattering, Hauser-Feshbach statistical model described the bulk of particle emission, and the exciton pre-equilibrium model described major features of fast particle emission at higher incident energies. Altogether, 21 model parameters were varied. The Bayesian update procedure was performed by the KALMAN [2] code by taking into account the sensitivity calculations and selected experimental data. |
ENDF/B-VI MOD 2 | Revision, September 2000, S.C.Frankle, R.C.Reedy, P.G.Young (LANL) The secondary gamma-ray spectrum for radiative capture (MF 12, MT 102) has been updated using new experimental data. The previous evaluation (MOD 1: 61 gamma rays) is replaced with 292 discrete gamma rays based on thermal neutron experimental data. Thermal spectrum assumed to 20 MeV. The Q-value for radiative capture was also updated in File 3. Gas production added as MF=3, MT=203,207 Details of these changes are described in Frankle et al. [Fr01] |
