NRG Eval Modifications for JEFF-3.2 from the JEFF-3.1 file - MF-2 was updated based on the Atlas of Neutron Resonances. The resolved resonance region has been extended up to 900 keV. Only the part up to 100 keV are used in the RRR. - MF-32 is added. Resonance parameter uncertainties are first taken from the Atlas and then increased to compensate for the scattering radius and to match integral measurements - MF-33 was added, based on Monte Carlo calculations from the TALYS and TASMAN codes. - The following values were obtained: Thermal capture cross section: 703 mb +/- 6.8 % Thermal elastic cross section: 11.16 b +/- 3.7 % Resonance Integral: 1933 mb +/- 15 % - Details of the evaluation work (performed together with the Bi evaluation) is presented in a NIM/A paper by D. Rochman and A. Koning, submitted in December 2007 |
